BROMYARD SCARECROW FESTIVAL 2019 – 7th to 9th JUNE 2019
Bromyard Scarecrow Festival takes place every June in the unspoilt Herefordshire market town of Bromyard. It includes a scarecrow parade, prizes for best children’s and adults exhibits, scarecrow making events, a scarecrow trail for the public with cryptic clues and a special supper in Bromyard Public Hall.
Each year there is a specific theme, such as “Nursery Rhymes” or “Fairy Tales”, and those individuals and businesses entering the Scarecrow Competition build their scarecrows to match that year’s theme.
The 2019 Bromyard Scarecrow Festival will commence on the evening of Friday 7th June, and continue during the day of Saturday 8th June and Sunday 9th June 2019. A detailed programme for the weekend will be posted here in due course.
The Theme for the 2019 festival is COUNTRIES. There are plenty of those to choose from so pick your favourite of just browse through the Atlas to get some ideas. For 2020 the Theme will be FAMOUS LANDMARKS.
