BROMYARD SCARECROW FESTIVAL 2018 – 8th to 10th JUNE 2018
Bromyard Scarecrow Festival takes place every June in the unspoilt Herefordshire market town of Bromyard. It includes a scarecrow parade, prizes for best children’s and adults exhibits, scarecrow making events, a scarecrow trail for the public with cryptic clues and a special supper in Bromyard Public Hall.
Each year there is a specific theme, such as “Nursery Rhymes” or “Fairy Tales”, and those individuals and businesses entering the Scarecrow Competition build their scarecrows to match that year’s theme.
The 2018 Bromyard Scarecrow Festival will commence on the evening of Friday 8th June, and continue during the day of Saturday 9th June and Sunday 10th June 2018. A detailed programme for the weekend will be posted here in due course.
The Theme for the 2018 festival is NUMBERS so that can be any book, play, film, poem, etc. that has numbers in its title. Date for last entries is 18th May 2018.
